With the New Year Athletic Republic brings big news. We have formed partnership with Base Hockey. Base Hockey is a new composite stick company headed by former NHL players Al Iafrate and Cliff Ronning. Base Hockey gives you the option to customize a stick specifically for your needs, that fits you. During a basic stick analysis session, which is done at our facility in Pierrefonds, we can determine what flex and lie you need to get all you can out of your hockey stick. They also have over 20 different pro stock curves you can choose from.
A Basic Stick Analysis session involves the athlete taking slap, wrist and snap shots under the surveillance of two high definition cameras along with the guidance of a Base Hockey team member. The cost of the session is currently $75.
The option of having a PRO Stick Analysis is also available in Montreal, if there is enough interest. These sessions include the same analysis as a Basic Stick Analysis session but the Base Team member is an ex-NHL veteran such as Al Iafrate or Glenn Anderson. The cost of these sessions is $150 each. Upcoming events will be promoted accordingly.
